In our usual pattern of Sunday services we meet all together in a joint service on the first Sunday of each month, then we have two separate congregations meeting at different times on the other Sundays.
The 10.00 a.m. Family Communion Service, held on the first Sunday of each month, provides an opportunity for our church family to gather together for worship. There will be a mix of hymns and songs including both traditional and contemporary music, and we normally have Young Church groups for children during this service. We also hold joint 10am services at special times, such as Harvest and Christmas, and during the summer holidays.
At 9.15 a.m. on other Sundays we have a more traditional service with hymns accompanied by the organ. This is normally a service of Holy Communion, except on the third Sunday of the month when we have a service of Morning Prayer with the opportunity for prayer and anointing for healing.
At 11.00 a.m. on other Sundays we have a more informal style of service including modern songs led by keyboard or band. Our Young Church meets during this service, with children going out to a separate room part way through the service. However, on the second Sunday of the month we have an ‘All Age’ service where everyone stays in church for the whole service and our worship is designed to include everyone of whatever age.
Refreshments are served after 10.00 a.m. service or between the 9.15 and 11am services on other Sundays (at around 10:30am).
All are welcome to our services, which involve prayers, hymns or songs, readings from the Bible and a talk, with Holy Communion at most 9.15am and 10am services. If you would like someone to pray with you about anything there will be opportunities at any of our services.
